So what is Mulberry Silk?
Mulberry silk is the most luxurious of all natural fibers. Mulberry silk comes from the cocoon that is spun by silk worms. The bombyx mori moth are only fed mulberry leaves and these cocoons are then spun into raw silk fibres. Because the bombyx mori moth’s are only fed these mulberry leaves, the resulting silk is of the highest quality and more refined than other types of silk.
Mulberry Silk is known for its softness, strength and resiliency. It is more than twice as strong as cotton and more than three times softer than cotton.
What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a called a humectant which means that it draws water into the top layer of the skin. Our bodies are 70% water and each of our cells need water to live, thrive and function as it should. Hyaluronic Acid is hydrating and helps our skin cells to receive the moisture they need.
Hyaluronic Acid provides continuous moisture to the skin by binding up to 1,000 times its weight in water. Unfortunately as we age, the amount of HA that our bodies are able to produce decreases and consequently the amount of HA that is in our skin drops significantly making us more prone to dry skin and wrinkles!
What is Argan Oil?
Argan Oil is a natural oil that is extracted from the kernels of the Argan Tree. It is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants and is often referred to as 'liquid gold'.
